No — and we say so plainly. The Republic of Valdoria is a cultural and artistic project. Your citizenship is a novelty and entertainment item: a real, numbered place in a real registry, but it confers no legal rights, nationality, immigration status, or right to travel.
What exactly do I receive?＋
The moment you enrol you get your permanent serial number, a downloadable digital citizen ID, a signed PDF certificate, a public verification page, and a citizen account where you can vote, stand for office, and collect honours.
Why is it capped at 500,000?＋
The cap is written into Article IX of our Constitution and can never be raised. There will only ever be 500,000 Valdorians — the lower your number, the earlier you were here.
What does “a tree for every purchase” mean?＋
For every purchase, Valdoria funds the planting of one tree — which it plants itself, in seasonal batches, and records openly. We always show trees pledged and trees actually planted as separate, honest figures.
Can I get a refund?＋
Yes. Because your citizenship is delivered digitally, if something isn’t right, contact the Registry within 14 days and we’ll make it right or refund you. Your serial number is never resold — once retired, it stays retired.
