Every purchase funds the planting of one tree.
For every purchase made in Valdoria, the Republic commits to plant one tree — on its own ground where the land allows, and at real sites elsewhere on Earth. We plant them ourselves, in seasonal batches, and we record every planting here with its date and place. This counter shows what our purchases have pledged and, separately, what has actually been planted. We will never claim a tree is in the ground before it is.

We keep pledged and planted separate on purpose. A tree is only counted as planted once it is really in the ground and recorded here with its date and place. We will never claim otherwise.
Where the trees go
On Valdorian ground
Valdor Point, our national territory, is hyper-arid desert with little water and no easy access. We are honest about that: we cannot grow a forest there. What belongs there is a single hardy native — the acacia, our national tree — as the symbolic first tree of the Republic on its own soil.
Across the Earth
The real volume is planted where trees can actually thrive and do good — where our citizens and founders can plant and tend them. Every site is recorded below with its place, date, species and, where we have it, a photograph.
The environmental programme of the Republic
Planting trees is the heart of it — but the mission is wider than that.
The Native Seed Bank
Valdoria collects and propagates drought-resilient native species — the acacia and the Rose of Jericho among them — so that everything we plant belongs to the land it grows in, rather than a monoculture that cannot last.
The Climate Observatory
The Republic publishes live meteorological readings from its own territory as open climate data — a small, honest contribution to watching the drylands the world tends to ignore.
A low-carbon, digital-first state
Valdoria is run online. Its registry, certificates and ledger are digital and verifiable rather than printed, and the nation keeps its own footprint deliberately small.
A plastic-free Realm
The Republic commits that its own operations and any physical goods it sends avoid single-use plastic wherever there is an alternative.
The Citizen's Pledge
Valdoria asks one thing of every citizen — a single, personal environmental promise, published under their name in the national record. Thousands of small commitments, kept in the open.
Advocacy for arid & forgotten lands
Valdoria exists to speak for the drylands and the overlooked places the world writes off. Our founding idea is that ground nobody wants is still worth caring for.

No plantings have been recorded yet. As soon as the first trees are in the ground, they will appear here — with the date, the place, and a photograph. Until then, the counter above shows what our purchases have pledged, and honestly reports zero planted.
How the pledge works
- The promise. Every purchase in Valdoria — a citizenship, a title, a domain, anything — pledges one tree. It is a genuine commitment of the Republic, funded from our own sales.
- We plant them ourselves. There is no third-party charity taking your money. Valdoria grows and plants the trees, in seasonal batches when planting actually works.
- Funded vs planted. The counter always shows both, and never counts a tree as planted before it is really in the ground and recorded here.
- Not a tax-deductible donation. A purchase in the store is a purchase, not a charitable donation; the tree is something the Republic does with its own revenue. See the Law of the Land.
