The Crown recognises citizens with the honours of the Realm — some bestowed for service and merit, others earned in the Royal Store. Every honour is entered for all time in the Roll of Honour.
The Honours of the Realm
The Order of Aurelia
Order
The highest honour of the Realm, bestowed by the Crown for extraordinary service to the nation of the imagination.
Grand Cross of the Realm
Order
A most distinguished order granted for singular devotion and achievement.
Knight / Dame of the Realm
Knighthood
A knighthood of the Realm — the right to be styled Sir or Dame, recorded in the Roll of Honour.
Star of Merit
Medal
Awarded for merit, good works, and contributions to the community of citizens.
Medal of Founding
Medal
Reserved for the founding citizens who joined the Realm in its earliest days.
Royal Commendation
Commendation
A commendation from the Crown recognising a citizen who has been noticed and appreciated.
Some honours may be acquired directly — a Knighthood, or a struck Star of Merit.
