The Republic of Valdoria — A Sovereign Micronation

VALDORIA — Candidacy has opened for the fifty elected seats of the First Parliament of Valdoria.

Any citizen of the Realm may stand for election at no cost. Voting opens once the candidacy window closes, and every citizen has one vote. A strictly limited number of premium seats remain available for those who prefer certainty to democracy — a compromise the Ministry of Culture has described as "honest, at least."

Parliament's powers are entirely ceremonial. It debates the flag, the holidays, and the national bird.

The Republic of Valdoria is a cultural and artistic project. It is not recognized as a sovereign state by any government. Its citizenships, titles, documents, and tokens are novelty and entertainment items only and confer no legal rights, nationality, immigration status, or financial value.
