National Registry Issues Citizen No. 000001

The registry is open, and the first serial numbers have been issued.

VALDORIA — The National Registry Office has issued the first citizenship of the Republic.

Each citizenship carries a unique serial number between 000001 and 500000, a certificate bearing a QR seal, and a permanent public entry in the registry. Any certificate can be checked by scanning its seal or visiting the verification page.

"The number is the point," said an officer of the Bureau of Digital Identity. "There will never be a 500,001st citizen."

The Republic of Valdoria is a cultural and artistic project. It is not recognized as a sovereign state by any government. Its citizenships, titles, documents, and tokens are novelty and entertainment items only and confer no legal rights, nationality, immigration status, or financial value.
